Something Fishy: Linocut and Monotype: The sea dragon
The Sea dragon alongside Its behind me…isn’t it forms part of the something fishy series is one of the largest pieces which I have worked on so far. Within this piece I have thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with the application of cool blue colours on top of the lino plate with the intention of imitating water as well as hinting at flora of the ocean. Within this piece I have experimented with a range of shapes, patterns and doodles to make up the bones of the sea horse.
