“There are plenty of fish in the sea” forms part of the medium pieces for the “Something fishy series”. “There are plenty of fish in the sea” is a lino cut printed in a blue-black ink on fabriano paper. This piece is an edition of 10. Within this piece I was interested in the deep-sea angler fish as a predator. I found its use of a light on its head as a method of hunting and mating to be very interesting and found myself drawing similar comparisons to past people in my life. Within the piece I have explored a variety of patterns and have left a wide range of symbols for the viewer to discover and decipher. Happy hunting everyone!
